THE RON MACMAILLAN LECTURE --  published by International Magic circa 2008 -- lecture footage from 1991
When I first started in magic (in 1973), it was pretty much a requirement that as a young, ambitious up-and-coming magician, I had to develop a classic manipulation act.  I loved performing the Multiplying Billiard balls (opened every show I did with those!), the Miser's dream, and pulling cards from the air.  (Okay, I admit, I never could get those card manipulations good enough to include in my show).
One of the key books for learning all of the above was Ron MacMillian's treatise on manipulation.   But I never saw him perform.  Until this DVD came out.
Shortly after  Ron Macmillan passed in 2005, this DVD was released by the magic store that he founded over 50 years ago (International Magic, London).   The DVD features vintage footage of Macmillan performing his award winning act of classic manipulation with billiard balls, coins and cards.
In addition to the lecture footage, which he gave in 1991, you get to see Macmillan performing in various decades (starting in the 1960's) at various magic conventions and competitions.  You can see just how darned good someone can get when they do the same act for 30 years!   His manipulation work is superb, and even if you know what he is doing, you still will be amazed at how he does it.    (I was also amazed at his incredibly long fingers -- kinds scary!)
I highly recommend this DVD to anyone interested in classic manipulation, magic history, and/or learning more about misdirection and timing in magic.

NOTE FOR POTENTIAL BUYERS WHO HAVE NEVER SEEN A HOME MOVIE OR VHS VIDEO TAPE:  The footage on this DVD is pre-digital, and is very, very, very low-res.     Understand that it is the content here, and not the quality of the film, that you need to focus on.
This DVD sells for if you can find it, but it is now pretty hard to find unless maybe you live in London and can go down to the Magic International store.       Despite this, I'll still sell it for less (because I am a nice guy!)

If you buy more than 3 or 4 DVD's at the same time, then Media Mail will probably be cheaper.   Happy to ship media mail if  it can be less expensive than 1st class for your order.
But remember, only books and DVDs in Media Mail -- cannot combine media with non-media unless we ship 1st class or Priority Mail.
For International addresses
:  shipping for add-on DVD will vary based on total weight of the package, but it will be significantly less per DVD than the first one.
