    Description

    Gambling and Confidence Games Exposed
    By H. W. "Kid" Royal
This is the nicest reproduction of this 1896 book that you're likely to find. We mean it! The cover is printed on a light silver-colored 80-lb. cambric stock, which is a near exact color of the original cover.
Kid Royal claimed to be "the only reformed confidence man and gambler" in his exposes. This book was sold (pitched) at his shows. Original copies are scarce and command high prices at auctions, if you're lucky enough to find one.
Here, then is an amazingly accurate reproduction of all the tricks, scams and cons of the con man, with an emphasis on gambling houses that fleeced the unwary customers.
As an added bonus, a pair of vintage news articles have been added at the back, so you can get to know some of the history claimed by "Kid" Royal, as he related it to newspaper reporters in the late 1800s.
This is being sold as an interesting novelty item only. We make no claims as to the methods claimed by the original author. Not to be used for cheating purposes.
    Soft covers,
    74 pages + supplement, saddle-stitched.
