2 Cast Sculptures - Mythological Figures - Winged Chimera Goat & Seated Griffin

This offering is for Two (2) Cast Mythological Sculptures in good, used condition. One is a winged lion, a griffin cast in cement and painted red. It measures 5-3/4" (14.7 cm.) high; 5-1/8" (13 cm.) wing tip to wing tip; 4-1/2" (11.5) deep. There are no chips, breaks or cracks. Maker, origin and date are unknown. It weighs 1 pound, 10 ounces. The other is a glazed red clay wall hanging sculpture. It is a chimera console depicting a winged goat/human figure sticking out his tongue. The ornament is cast red clay slip, glazed to look convincingly like copper. No visible cracks, chips or breaks. It measures 3-1/4" (8.3 cm.) high; 3-1/2" (9 cm.) wide; 4-1/4" (11 cm.) deep. It weighs 3 pounds. Maker, origin and date are unknown.
